Have read the articles about tagging, checked out the Yarra Plenty Library catalogue by searching a fiction title (very slow response time though) and looked at the SLV Del.icio.us account. Overall the benefit of tagging using "plain language" rather than controlled subject headings allows more access points thereby increasing the probability of finding the information that you want, which has to be good.

#6/7 RSS
Have subscribed to a few RSS news feeds, one of which may be useful in my work. I like the idea of all the "feeds" going into my google reader account and that I can subscribe and unsubscribe to my heart's content. I think I will be using this a lot! It is certainly much better in managing your "popular" websites.
